Steve Heiselman
Hello, and thanks for checking out my website. If you are considering using a Realtor to buy a new home, or sell your existing home, then we should talk. In the mean time, here's a little bit about myself and the company I work for.
I've lived in the Asheville area since 1988, and have been a professional Realtor with J.D. Jackson Associates since 2002. J.D. Jackson Associates is a local family owned company, and is the oldest continuously operating real estate company in Asheville. I used J.D. Jackson Associates as my real estate company prior to becoming a Realtor, and I always had outstanding service from my Broker, Jamie Blue(who is our Broker-in-Charge, and now my boss!) In 2006, I was fortunate enough to be my company's Top Producer.
Previous to working as Realtor, I was the Indoor Air Programs Manager for the Western North Carolina Regional Air Quality Agency. In that capacity, I performed asbestos and indoor air quality inspections, and pollution prevention audits. Prior to that, I served as the Recycling Coordinator for both the Land-of-Sky Regional Council, and then the Buncombe County government. I have a Bachelors Degree in Environmental Geography from Ohio University, and a Masters Degree in Physical Geography (specialty in groundwater resources) from the University of Tennessee.
My wife Kim and I have been married since 1995, and we have a son, Alexander, who was born in 2000. We love living in these mountains! Hiking, mountain biking, camping, and whitewater boating are a few of the activities we enjoy. And if you like fishing, then we really need to talk!
